Our Terms and Conditions may get updated on a periodical basis, it is important to always check for updates when you visit our website.
1.0 Product Information
1.1 Our Product
Each and every one of our fortune cookies are handmade, and may differ slightly in shape, they do not have the same appearance or taste of the traditional fortune cookie.
All of the photographs you see on our website are genuine images taken of our fortune cookies and a true reflection of our product.
1.2 Product Shelf Life
Once baked and decorated our fortune cookies are bagged and sealed to retain their freshness.
Our sealed fortune cookies will remain fresh for a minimum of 2 months.
1.3 Allergen Information
Our kitchen will be handling processes that include the use of Milk, Eggs, Gluten Products and nuts, although not all used in our Fortune Cookie product.
Our Fortune Cookies contain Eggs, Flour (Gluten), Vegetable Oil (Rapeseed), Caster Sugar, Salt and Cornflour,
Fortune Cookie Decoration contains, Chocolate and depending on the decoration design, may also contain the following.
Typically ingredient’s in decorations: Soya Lecithins (E322), Sellac (E904) and dependent on colour of decorations used:
(E102), (E110), (E120), (E122), (E124), (E129), (E171).
Sprinkles may contain traces of nuts, milk and soya.
E102, E110, E122, E124, E129 may have an adverse on activity and attention of children.
2.0 Payment Information
All online payments are made through a secure method, made through Paypal.
Paypal offer both BUYER and SELLER protection, see Paypal website for their full Protection and Privacy Policies.
Paypal and Credit Card payments accepted online, a Paypal account is not required.
Wedding or Event orders that are placed months in advance will require a 10% deposit to secure a date.

Discounts only apply to orders over 25, orders over 50 and orders over 200 of our fortune cookies.
Discounts will be applied at checkout, you will need the specific coupon CODE to apply a discount.
The final cost with discounts applied will be displayed at the payments page.
Discount offers are subject to change with no notice period, any changes in discount offers will be clearly stated on our Coupon Page and in our Terms and Conditions before changes are implemented.

20% discount for orders over 25
30% discount for orders over 50
40% discount for orders over 200
If full payment is received through Paypal, we will send an email to the customer to acknowledge receipt of an order.
If part payment is received as a deposit for a Wedding order, and invoice will be emailed to the customer to acknowledge the deposit payment and to inform the customer of the due date for the final payment.
2.3 Returns and Cancellations
Each of our Fortune Cookies are handmade to order, and the personalised nature of our business means we are unable to offer any refunds.
We aim to start work on orders within 24 hours of an order being placed, so we do not accept any cancellations once the order has started.
If you do want to cancel an order, please contact us immediately, if we have not started the baking process, we will honour a cancellation.
When taking orders for Wedding's, these are usually ordered in advance of any planned dates. At the time of taking a confirmed order, as by way of securing a date, we ask for a 10% deposit. Any deposit is non-refundable. For Wedding orders whereby a deposit has been paid, we request the balance of payment to be made 28 days prior to your wedding date. Once this payment has been received, it is non-refundable.
We take special care in packaging your fortune cookies, each individually bagged, and protected with bubble wrap before being dispatched. We guarantee every fortune cookie will leave our premises un-damaged. Due to the delicate nature of our product, and although we make every effort to package as carefully as we can, we cannot guarantee all your fortune cookies will arrive un-damaged. If you do experience any damaged fortune cookies, and you can provide pictures of the damaged fortune cookies, we will try our best to fulfil the full order by sending replacements for the damaged cookies.
3.0 Delivery Information
3.1 UK Deliveries
All deliveries to UK addresses are free of charge.
Orders of under 50 fortune cookies will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class signed for. Royal Mail's aim for 1st class signed for deliveries is a next day delivery.
Orders over 50 fortune cookies will be sent via Parcelforce Express48.
Sam's Unique Fortune Cookies cannot be held liable for any delivery delays experienced as a result of delays by Royal Mail or Parcelforce.
For large orders requested for specific dates, such as Weddings and Events, deliveries will be arranged to arrive with our customers 1 week before the date of the event. This is to ensure your event is not affected if any delay is experienced.
We can also send further in advance upon request.
Changes to our postal arrangements, costs, carriers will be amended in our Terms and Conditions before implemented.
3.2 International Deliveries
All deliveries to outside of the UK are subject to a delivery charge.
For all International delievries, we advise our customers to contact us prior to placing any order so we can advise on the best options for delivery. This will enable us to advise on the best possible options for deliveries accurate costs, ensuring addittional costs for import duties, taxes and handling fees are transparent.
Certain destinations will be subject import duties, taxes, or handling fees, these costs will be covered by the receiver.
We use several shipping options, depending on the weight of the consignment and the delivery loction.

How do we protect your information?
Our website is designed and run through Wix.com, when a customer makes a purchase from our Online Store, the customer is re-directed through PayPal. The only information added by the customer on our site is the product and any product options. Once a customer clicks Checkout, the customer is directed away from the our site, to PayPal. Any personal or payment details that the customer has to enter are, therefore, not entered on our Wix.com site, but rather on PayPal. Both our Wix.com designed website and PayPal are PCI Compliant.
